Director, Hair Excellence

YOUR ROLE

• Develop and implement an upskilling strategy that nurtures our hair culture while fostering an environment where employees can continuously enhance their expertise and deepen their knowledge of the hair industry.
• Create and lead innovative learning methods such as live and virtual workshops, demos, hands-on and e-learning platforms to provide comprehensive training experiences.
• Establish and oversee multi-branded #AcademyofHair product testing salon with highest integrity.
• Lead a team Collaborate with R&D, marketing, and product development teams to develop end-to-end processes for product testing. 
• Work with and hair educators and experts to develop protocol that promotes the proper use of new products and techniques, establishing Hair Pro as a trusted source of knowledge.
• Represent Hair Pro internally and externally to build strategic relationships with industry partners, leaders, and educators creating partnerships that enhance Hair Professional profile.
• Participate in events, conferences, and panels connecting with emerging industry leaders, trends and professional networks.
• Manage overall budget related to the above.

YOUR SKILLS

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, or Licensed Cosmetologist. 
• 10+ years of experience in the hair or beauty industry, ideally in education, product development, or corporate training roles.
• Proven track record of leading upskilling initiatives and building industry partnerships. 
• Deep understanding of the hair industry’s latest trends, products, and professional standards.
• Executive presence and the ability to influence both internal leadership and external stakeholders. 
• Strong network within the hair and beauty industry, including relationships with stylists, educators, and industry bodies. 
• Expertise in developing innovative training programs that inspire creativity and professional growth.
  

The salary for this role is $130,000.00 - $160,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range.  This salary range may also be modified in the future.
